Another stopping point. I'm having difficulty finding time for this. It's a challenge. I study Fantin-Latour and I paint. But what good am I if I cannot find the beauty in a Lilac? LOL This is inspired by one-who-loves-everything. A humanistic vision of beauty.
When a human paints an organic subject not human, they tend to identify with the human elements of the subject. It is the concept that we are related to everything in nature that is organic. In this case I'm painting a person who resembles a lilac. I think of the person and paint the lilac. I do not know what will come out LOL.
i like it! that sounds adventuresome (?), venturing into a fairy tale... oh yes, the leaves start rustling, the petals start moving, when you bend your ear to her she (he) will whisper: "----...." the faintest smell.
when i watch my flowers i become one too and worry for our roots.
